Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled RN to join our Progressive Care team at Farmington Hills Hospital. As a RN, you will utilize the nursing process to provide professional care, incorporating patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge. You will work under the direction of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures, and recognize the impact of nursing care and patient/family partnerships on patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.
- Partner with patients and families to develop teaching strategies and document education and learning in the health record.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
- Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
