Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional nutritional services in accordance with state regulations and professional standards, addressing the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct patient interviews to assess nutritional status and identify dietary requirements, collaborating with healthcare providers.
  • Develop and implement dietary plans based on therapeutic needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatments.
  • Educate patients and their families on dietary modifications and the implications of drug/nutrient interactions.
  • Monitor patient responses to dietary interventions, adjusting plans as necessary in consultation with healthcare teams.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records and documentation, adhering to ethical standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training and educational opportunities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field is required.
  • Current Registered Dietitian licensure/certification in the relevant state is mandatory.
  • A minimum of six months of relevant experience is generally required.
