Part Time Inventory Coordinator

At JOANN Stores, we're seeking a highly skilled Part Time Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a critical role in delivering a premium customer experience by inspiring creativity within our customers and making JOANN their Happy Place. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales through advanced product knowledge, innovative merchandising, and cutting counter accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Review inbound product deliveries and work schedules to ensure delivery coverage
Maintain backroom standards by accurately processing freight and taking full account of physical inventory to ensure product is continuously flowing to the sales floor
Utilize JOANN's Hearts, Hands, Minds, and Inspire to find success in your role
Hearts
Greet every JOANN customer and use the F.A.S.T. service model to meet the customer's needs
Ask open-ended questions to learn about customers' project needs and escort them to the desired product's location
Engage in friendly conversation with customers about their projects while serving them at the cutting counter, cash register, and sales floor
Hands
Perform on-hand counts of physical inventory throughout the back room and sales floor to ensure all inventory is accounted for
Receive and unload truck deliveries with close attention to detail and ensure freight is organized and undamaged
Process freight received from trucks to ensure all merchandise is accounted for and ready to be sent to the sales floor when necessary
Minds
Consult with store management regarding inventory discrepancy and product flow issues to reduce shrink
Merchandise product in a way that catches the customer's attention and promotes sales
Complete POG setup and ensure accuracy of planograms throughout the store
Inspire
Work closely with store management to ensure that incoming freight has a strategic plan for movement onto the sales floor
Communicate freight plan to other team members and promote whole store participation in the movement of freight
Partner with store management to align scheduled hours with the inbound product flow to create full workload coverage
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience in a customer-centric environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
