Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) - Clinical Expertise

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy staff, you will provide exceptional patient care, ensure accurate and efficient medication dispensing, and contribute to the overall success of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical guidance to patients, addressing their medication-related questions and concerns, and ensuring they understand the proper use of their medications.
- Conduct thorough medication reviews, identifying potential interactions and contraindications, and making recommendations for alternative treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy practices, regulations, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and pharmacy operations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and stay current with industry developments.
Requirements:
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
