About the Position

Potomac Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Physician to join our team at Virginia Union University. As a key member of our Student Health Services, you will provide high-quality care to students and faculty, promoting a healthy and productive academic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical health assessments and provide advanced occupational health care services, including travel medicine services and immunizations.
  • Coordinate care activities with colleagues, program directors, and customer agency representatives.
  • Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
Requirements
  • Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in an ABMS board, medical or osteopathic physician.
  • Current license to practice medicine.
  • Relevant specialties: Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Occupational Medicine, General Preventive Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or General Surgery.
  • At least two (2) years of clinical experience post-residency training.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • May require ACLS training.
