Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance on our fleet of vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy truck equipment maintenance and repair, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services on vehicles and equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment, and complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software.
  • Review and complete or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks to management and other team members.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in heavy truck equipment maintenance and repair, or completion of an accredited vocational technical school program.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
