General Responsibilities:

Your role will encompass the following essential duties:

  1. Execute routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and window cleaning.
  2. Maintain restrooms by replenishing supplies and utilizing appropriate cleaning agents.
  3. Clean and sanitize office furniture, walls, and windows; manage waste disposal effectively.
  4. Ensure cleanliness in various facilities, including restrooms and offices, through thorough dusting and disinfecting.
  5. Perform carpet maintenance and care to uphold the quality of flooring.
  6. Attend to drapes and upholstery, including cleaning and minor repairs.
  7. Assist with furniture relocation for cleaning purposes or special events.
  8. Operate floor maintenance equipment, such as buffers and vacuums, to maintain facility standards.
  9. Conduct minor repairs on custodial equipment as necessary.
  10. Manage custodial supply inventory and restock as needed.
  11. Occasionally perform light landscaping tasks, including mowing and maintaining designated outdoor areas.
  12. Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: A minimum of six months of relevant custodial experience is preferred.

Licensure: A valid driver’s license from your state of residence is required.

Knowledge Requirements:

Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment, and inventory management principles is essential. You should also possess the ability to quickly learn about relevant regulations and guidelines.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are crucial. You must be able to work independently and follow complex instructions effectively.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.

Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to fifty pounds, standing, walking, and climbing ladders.

Work Environment:

Work will be conducted both indoors and outdoors, depending on the assigned tasks.
