Job Overview

Xpedient Logistics is a comprehensive third-party logistics provider, specializing in a wide range of services including warehousing, transportation management, supply chain optimization, order fulfillment, and labor solutions. This role reports directly to the General Manager and involves overseeing operations across our facilities in the U.S. and Canada.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
Operational Hours: 6 AM - 11 PM

Position Summary
The Bilingual Warehouse Operations Manager, proficient in both Spanish and English, will play a pivotal role in leading a dedicated workforce to fulfill orders for a diverse clientele. This position requires a deep understanding of labor management and forecasting to navigate the varying levels of inbound and outbound work driven by volume fluctuations. The primary objective is to enhance cost efficiency, elevate service standards, and achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership to warehouse personnel, cultivating a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Supervise, train, and assess warehouse staff, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Promote a culture centered on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the warehouse environment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processes for receiving, storing, picking, and shipping products.
  • Establish and uphold effective inventory control measures to reduce discrepancies and losses.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Manage operations related to warehousing and distribution (4+ years of experience required).
  • Experience in tire manufacturing, food service, and retail distribution is advantageous.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, including budgets, operational performance metrics, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as labor efficiency, quality, and employee productivity.
  • Oversee inventory and labor management processes.
  • Engage with customers effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety programs (OSHA and other compliance initiatives).
  • Utilize supply chain technology, particularly WMS (SAP preferred).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
  • Strong familiarity with SAP and WMS is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced environment such as e-commerce, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics.
  • Robust data analysis capabilities, with the ability to interpret and draw actionable insights from data.
  • Strong business acumen, with proven skills in influencing others and analytical thinking.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in startup operations or 3PL environments is a plus.
  • A collaborative team player who can drive successful project outcomes while adhering to deadlines.

  • Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $75,000
  • Benefits: Includes laptop, comprehensive benefits package, 401K match, and paid time off.
