Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough and ongoing assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing wound care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and promote continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and unit activities.
- One year of recent experience in a Neonatal Level III nursery or completion of a KP NICU Training Program.
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse License (California).
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
- Experience working in a Maternal Child Health/Family Centered Care area.
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems and ability to navigate in a windows environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
