Sales Manager Job Description

As a Sales Manager at Bluegreen Vacations, you will lead a high-performing team in a fun working environment. Your primary responsibility will be to staff, develop, and lead a team of Sales Representatives who will engage with potential customers to generate leads and sell vacation packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, coach, and motivate sales associates.
  • Deliver a one-on-one conversation weekly with each sales associate to discuss their performance and provide feedback.
  • Develop sales associates for success in their position and future growth.
  • Ensure that the Company-approved training program, "Passport to Success," is delivered to all associates.
  • Maintain inventory of and place orders for all necessary collateral, including lead slips, pitch cards, maps, etc.
  • Take over and/or enter sales for an associate who is struggling to close and train them on how to handle objections and close sales.
  • Review all Medallia Package Sales Surveys and respond to any Customer Care Agents' requests about Sales Alerts.
  • Immediately report all customer service issues to the VP, Retail Marketing / Regional Director of Marketing.
  • Accurately track and process payroll, collecting and maintaining sales associates' hours on timesheets if manual or in the Kronos time-keeping system, and submit to HR within the payroll deadlines.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and compliance, and ensure that the company-approved method of selling is being trained on and utilized.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Sales or Marketing experience is required.
  • Sales Management experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the timeshare industry, OPC marketing, or telemarketing sales is helpful.
