Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Specialist to join our team at Nahan. As a Data Center Specialist, you will be responsible for processing data following specific directions from clients and customer service. You will use personalization setup software to prepare print files for multiple pieces of production equipment, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and timeliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Understand data structure and manipulate data structure to meet client requirements.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals to communicate complex information.
  • Develop complex personalization format setup to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Understand Windows operating system and computer peripherals to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and solve complex problems to drive business results.
  • Communicate with software technical support to resolve software-related file processing challenges.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college degree in computer science, math, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in database management, programming, software development, or related areas.
  • 5 years of experience in direct mail list processing and personalization format setup, preferably.
  • Knowledge of the Domestic Mail manual, USPS rates, and regulations.
  • Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic scripting skills using programming logic.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal.
