Your Key Responsibilities:
- Take patient histories and vital signs to prepare them for examination and treatment.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, including sterilization and maintenance of equipment.
- Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy as required.
- Answer telephone calls and screen referrals for the practice.
What You'll Need:
- Education: A degree from an accredited Medical Assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Certification: Current Medical Assistant certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA) is highly desirable.
