Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
  • Assist registered nurses with implementing nursing care plans, obtaining and recording patient information, and transferring patients safely.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families, promoting a positive and comfortable environment.
  • Engage in evidence-based best practices that enhance the patient experience, such as SAFETY rounding, communication fundamentals/AIDET, and Teach-Back.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; preferred education: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
  • Preferred experience: 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Current listing with Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
