The estimated annual salary for this role is around $83,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
As an Acute Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers to coordinate pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. You will assess patient conditions, identify changes, and report them promptly. Your responsibilities may include performing procedures, documenting care, administering medications, and maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program, with a commitment to obtaining a BSN within 5 years of hire date. A minimum of one year of hospital nursing experience is preferred. You must hold a current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. National certification in your area of specialty is also desirable.
