Construction Materials Testing Technician, Level I

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Materials Testing Technician, Entry-Level to join our team at Tolunay-Wong Engineers. As a key member of our construction materials testing team, you will assist in the performance of routine construction monitoring, field and/or laboratory tests.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with sampling or testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other materials as directed.
- Support field and/or laboratory personnel as needed to complete tasks.
- Transport equipment, specimens, or documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients, or other offices, and provide physical assistance in equipment set-up.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work area.
- Assist other technicians or professional staff on routine tasks.
- Support our quality policies and procedures; maintain the quality of your work and the quality of TWE in the highest regard with each task you perform.
- Adhere to the TWE safety policies and procedures and encourage the improvement of these policies by your participation in near miss and safety audit programs.
- No experience necessary.
- Ability to lift 10 to 60 lbs. and work outside for extended periods of time.
- Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a drug and background check.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be willing to work weekends as needed.
