Early Intervention Specialist Opportunity

Thom Child and Family Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with families and young children to provide individualized and culturally sensitive services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental status and create personalized intervention plans
  • Provide direct child development services and activities tailored to the needs of each child and family
  • Collaborate with families to identify goals, objectives, and strategies for promoting healthy development
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of client interactions and services provided
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Special Education
  • At least 300 hours of practicum or work experience with young children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with families and community partners
  • Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
