Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Technician to join our team at Hope Network Rehabilitation Services.

The successful candidate will assist in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Crisis Prevention
    • Monitor and ensure the safety of clients 24/7, providing regular checks and support as needed.
    • Support clients in crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
  • Relationship Building
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, built on trust, empathy, and effective communication.
    • Foster a spirit of partnership with clients, the community, and other professionals.
  • Activities and Daily Living
    • Assist clients in developing effective problem-solving, communication, and independence skills.
    • Support clients in identifying and participating in social and leisure activities, such as transportation, concerts, movies, and in-house events.
    • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living, including personal care, cooking, dressing, bathing, and restroom assistance.
    • Aid clients with bowel and bladder programs, feeding, wound care, and transfers.
  • Health and Wellness
    • Monitor clients' vitals and medical conditions, promoting positive behavior and overall health.
    • Attend medical appointments and ensure accurate information is relayed between medical providers and the care team.
    • Understand, read, and assist in implementing medical, behavioral, and clinical care plans, providing accurate documentation.
  • Community Integration
    • Connect clients with community opportunities to develop relationships and achieve goals.
    • Support clients in employment, education, and volunteer interests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid.
  • Commitment to scheduled shifts, assigned duties, and performance expectations.
  • Basic computer skills.
