Mixer / Blender Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mixer / Blender to join our team at QPS Employment Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing recipes in accordance with our production schedule, batch sheets, and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare recipes in accordance with production schedule, batch sheets, and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure accurate and timely records are kept, including batch size, ingredient usage, product temperatures, and traceability information
  • Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Advise management of cook status and problems on a regular basis
  • Ensure appropriate quantities are packaged and labeled for delivery to clients
  • Perform sanitation duties associated with cooking operations, including kettles, utensils, floors, walls, and platforms

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills; bilingual is a plus
  • Proactive mindset and flexibility to meet just-in-time pressures
  • Able to work nights and days, adapting schedule to meet production demands
