Position: Research Associate III
Responsibilities:
Deliver viral vector core services, encompassing the production of lentiviral libraries, Adeno-associated virus (AAV) generation, and comprehensive viral vector analytics. Oversee the maintenance of viral inventory and registry utilizing informatics platforms such as Benchling. Contribute to the advancement of viral vector technologies and their applications for both in vitro and in vivo genome engineering. Operate independently within a vibrant and collaborative research setting.
Qualifications:
Expertise in mammalian cell culture and fundamental molecular biology methodologies, including transient plasmid transfection, PCR, qPCR, ddPCR, and Western blotting. Experience with lentivirus or AAV production and application, as well as CRISPR technology for genome editing, is highly advantageous. Familiarity with flow cytometry operations and electronic lab notebooks is also beneficial. Candidates should be self-driven, detail-oriented, analytical, well-organized, and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Educational Background:
A Master's or PhD degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Virology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 3 years of laboratory research experience.
