As a Housekeeping Aide at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional housekeeping services, ensuring that our rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Respond promptly to guest requests, deliver guest requests, and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
- Housekeeping Operations: Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms, strip trash/dirty linen from assigned checkouts, and ensure correct inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers remain in the rooms/villas.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain assigned buildings/areas daily, use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, carpet extractors, etc., and stock linen closets in assigned areas daily with linen and supplies.
- Availability: Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
- Physical Demands: Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
