Job Summary

We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Houseperson to join our team at The Belgrove Resort. As a Houseperson, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest floors, including corridors, vending areas, elevators, and landings. You'll work closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure that hotel cleanliness standards are met, with a special emphasis on assisting the Room Attendants.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall cleanliness of assigned floors, including vacuuming, buffing, and dusting
• Assist the Housekeeping team with upkeep of supplies, delivery of linen, paper products, and cleaning as needed
• Restock guest floor supply closets with all items assigned and needed by the housekeeping team
• Clean all internal offices, empty trash, vacuum, and dusting
• Deliver guest amenities and housekeeping deliveries when assigned
• Respond appropriately to guest and associate inquiries to ensure total guest satisfaction
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Housekeeping or member of the management team

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a combination of previous Hospitality experience preferred
• Basic computational ability
• Considerable physical activity continuously throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, with a second language desirable
