Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

At LR Palm House LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership:
    1. Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet luxury standards of cleanliness and service excellence.
    2. Conduct performance evaluations and foster a positive team environment.
  • Quality Control:
    1. Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to luxury standards.
    2. Address and resolve any cleanliness issues or guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Operational Management:
    1. Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
    2. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as needed.
  • Guest Experience:
    1. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance guest satisfaction.
    2. Anticipate guest needs and preferences to personalize housekeeping services.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    1. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
    2. Conduct regular training on safety protocols and best practices.
  • Administrative Duties:
    1. Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inventory, and inspections.
    2. Assist in budget management and cost control initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in housekeeping, with supervisory experience in a luxury hotel preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced environment with physical demands, including lifting and bending.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and various indoor environments.
