Job Summary:The Clinical Nutrition Manager will be responsible for managing the Clinical and Patient Services Programs, providing supervision and training to a team of Registered Dietitians and patient services staff members, and advocating for the expansion and promotion of the role of Clinical Nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the clinical nutrition program within Fischer-Titus Medical Center
- Provide supervision, training, and development for a small team of Registered Dietitians and patient services staff members
- Advocate to expand and promote the role of Clinical Nutrition
- Manage the implementation and management of Sodexo's meal service program and menu management system
- Foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development
- Proactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
- Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects
- Be the primary liaison with the medical and nursing staff and represent the department on hospital-wide committees
- Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and a strong clinical knowledge base
- Proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness, and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care
Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education, and training.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
- At least 13 months of experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes
- 3 years as an experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners
