Role Responsibilities:

The Advanced Imaging Systems Administrator plays a crucial role in delivering onsite support for Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS) within Radiology and Cardiology departments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely resolution of PACS incidents and requests through the ServiceNow ticketing system, adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Acting as a liaison between imaging clinical staff, Radiologists, and Cardiologists, offering technical support for all imaging systems.
  • Ensuring optimal operation of the PACS system by collaborating with IT resources and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and installations on PACS applications and hardware to support daily operations.
  • Mentoring new team members and providing training on operational workflows.
  • Managing project activities, including logging time, guiding imaging needs, and communicating with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years in Healthcare or IT.
  • Experience in customer service roles.

Preferred Education:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Intermediate imaging education with practical experience in a healthcare setting.

Licensure:

Certification as a PACS Associate (CPAS) is required within six months of hire.
