Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician at AdventHealth DeLand, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate preparation of medications for our patients. This is a full-time opportunity to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and organize pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders.
* Provide safe and accurate medication services, supporting all those involved in direct patient care.
* Conduct medication histories on patients arriving through the emergency department and via direct admission.
* Interview patients to obtain an accurate and thorough medication history, and enter this information into the electronic medical record.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
* One year of contemporary hospital experience preferred.
