We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team at Highpoint Health – Sumner. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
- Document patient care given and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 6 months of employment, if not current upon hire.
- PALS Certification within 6 months if employment, if not current upon hire.
- Nursing experience in ENDO or other Surgical Services - Preferred.
