Pipefitter Foreman

Industrial Trade Services is seeking a skilled Pipefitter Foreman to oversee pipefitting projects and journeyman pipefitters. The ideal candidate will have experience in selecting pipe and materials, inspecting worksites, and planning installation sequences.
Key Responsibilities- Selects pipe and materials according to job specifications.
- Inspects worksites to determine presence of obstructions.
- Plans sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workers.
- Cuts, threads, and bends pipe using various tools and machines.
- Assembles and installs pipes and pipe fittings using threaded, caulked, soldering, brazen, fused, or cemented joints.
- Secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers.
- Installs and maintains refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Tests piping systems for leaks.
- Welds pipe supports to structural steel members.
- Observes production machines to detect malfunctions and performs minor maintenance.
- Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, and equipment.
- Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
- Make decisions based on measurable criteria.
- Apply shop mathematics to solve problems.
- Plan work and select proper tools.
- Visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
- Work at heights without fear.
- Compare and see differences in size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.
