Job Summary

This position is a critical member of Sherwin-Williams' manufacturing team, responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment to fill and package products for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, including high-speed dispersers, filling machines, pumps, valves, and robotics
  • Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality and ensure compliance with company standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time and maintain production records
  • Provide technical support and training to team members and contribute to process improvements
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment, adhering to company policies and standard operating procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • At least one year of experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with packaging equipment, such as robotics, filling machines, and labelers
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
