Responsibilities

  • Safety: Maintain a high standard of safety for all functions, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and wearing required PPE.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment, adhering to company, state, local, and federal policies and regulations.

Quality and Productivity:

  • Follow company standards for cleanliness, food safety, and efficient productivity.
  • Maintain the production-packaging area in compliance with quality standards.
  • Support quality, food safety, and HAACP programs, conforming to company, customer, and government standards.

Teamwork and Communication:

  • Effectively communicate with team members and management, working respectfully to meet safety, quality, and production standards.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment with repetitive work is preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is helpful.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • The ability to read and comprehend instruction sheets is required.
  • Cooperative teamwork skills are necessary.
  • Visual, auditory, physical, and mental abilities are required to operate equipment safely.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a manufacturing environment with regular requirements for speaking, reading, sitting, standing, walking, climbing, crouching, lifting, reaching, grasping, and bending.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and carry that weight up to 25 feet at various frequencies.
  • Stand for 8-10 hours with regular breaks while performing repetitive tasks.
  • May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
