Job Summary:

The University of North Carolina School of Medicine is seeking a clinical faculty member to join our hospitalist practice at the regional campus in Wilmington, NC. This is a clinically focused position in a regional community children's hospital with a strong connection to a large academic group and quaternary children's hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient care services to newborns, children, and adolescents, including admission, subsequent care, and discharge with in-house coverage 24/7.
  • Teach and evaluate Family Medicine residents, UNC medical students, and UNC PHM fellows.
  • Participate in leadership opportunities with the group, depending on interest and experience.

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Pediatrics residency in an accredited program.
  • Board certification/eligibility in General Pediatrics and/or Hospital Pediatrics.
