Mesa Energy Systems, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., is seeking a skilled Application Engineer II to join our team. As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify MEP systems on drawings and understand the intent of individual mechanical equipment.
  • Develop written sequence of operations based on mechanical drawings or real-world site conditions.
  • Design complex electrical circuits, including VFDs, motor starters, transducers, actuators, sensors, and relay logic.
  • Utilize Visio and AutoCAD knowledge to create P&IDs and control panel construction schedules.
  • Interact with field electricians and specify methods of installation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in applications engineering.
  • Working knowledge of at least two HVAC controls systems (preferably Distech, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, or Delta).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
