We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Northwell Health. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and implement patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a calm and restful atmosphere.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and safe administration.
- Participate in patient and family education, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 2-3 years of Operating Room experience required.
