About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of plasma donations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen donors for eligibility and perform venipuncture to collect plasma samples.
  • Monitor donors during the donation process and manage any adverse reactions.
  • Operate plasmapheresis equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Stock supplies, break down empty cartons, and assist with proper disposal.
  • Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS) and coordinate donors to the donor floor.
  • Compensate donors using the Debit Card system and support the center management team in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
  • 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
