Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Specialist - Vehicle Logistics to join our team. As a key member of our Delivery & Field Operations organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our electric vehicles to customers. Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory, including completing paperwork and ensuring quality standards through washing vehicles, detailing, and correction activities.
  • Delivery Readiness: Maintain the delivery readiness of vehicles, conduct quality control processes, and manage the communication of defects to the service department.
  • Inventory Lot Management: Maintain the inventory lot, ensuring safe and usable drive lanes at all times, and organize and maintain secure key management for vehicle inventory.
  • Vehicle Shuttling: Shuttling vehicles to/from secondary locations, including customer and fleet vehicles.
  • Supply Management: Maintain adequate inventory of essential supplies.
  • Trade-In Preparation: Prepare, inspect, and stage customer trade-ins for remarketing to be transported to the auction via carrier.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct various weekly, monthly, and quarterly audit processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with proper communication and collaboration with other teams onsite and remote, participating in workshops that improve quality and efficiency with guidance from leads/managers.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and software, including Microsoft Office, and internal business platforms.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or lot management; previous EV or detailing experience valued.
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule to support customers on nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge with computers and software, including Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to effectively navigate internal business platforms.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license in the state/province of residence that you will be driving/operating a vehicle (or state that you are commuting daily to/from).
  • Driving Record: No drug or alcohol-related driving incidents in the last 3 years; no more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years; no driving-related suspensions or revocation of Driver License within a 3-5 year period.
  • Local Licenses: Ability to obtain and maintain local sales licenses if applicable in your state/province.
  • Adaptability: Adaptable to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on level of importance and urgency.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously and consistently with limited direction.
  • Physical Demands: Physical exertion may be required to perform occupational tasks (sitting up to 2 or more hours at a time, standing for up to 8 or more hours a day, walking, bending, kneeling, laying, twisting, carrying, reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • Communication: Strong understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Vision: Ability to see, read, and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or schematics.
