Job Description

Horizons Group Care provides comprehensive services to children, families, and communities in Manatee, Sarasota, Desoto, Hillsborough, and Pinellas counties. As a Horizons Care Team Member, you will be part of our Out of Home Care program, delivering high-quality care to young people with complex needs.

The salary for this position is approximately $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role involves 24-hour care/7 days a week roster, requiring staff to be available for various shifts, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to federal and state laws, as well as Horizons Care Policies and Procedures.
  • Report any suspected incidents of child abuse or neglect to the Program Administrator and Child Abuse Hotline.
  • Document activities and maintain daily logs.
  • Participate in 40 hours of in-service training annually.
Duties:
  1. Supervise and train residents in personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
  2. Facilitate recreational and leisure time activities.
  3. Maintain a clean living environment.
  4. Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
