Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to students in a school-based setting
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and academic success
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or clinical counseling
  • Possess or currently pursuing an LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC licensure
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in working with severe emotional disorders in children and adults, family systems theory, individual and family development, and community resources and school systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Considerable ability to plan and implement treatment strategies for children with severe emotional disorders
  • Experience working with students and families of color, understanding of the impact of race and poverty on students and families
  • Experience with electronic health records
