Emergency Medical Technician

Position Overview:
As an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical assistance and patient care to those in need.
Immediate Hiring:
We are seeking dedicated individuals for our EMT positions.
Compensation:
Starting at $30.84+ per hour
$10,000 Sign-on Bonus for Full-Time EMTs with a 2-Year Commitment
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the appropriate response while adhering to established protocols.
2. Utilize advanced medical equipment and techniques, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous therapies, to deliver exceptional care.
3. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information regarding their treatment.
4. Lead the emergency response team, ensuring effective scene and unit management.
5. Operate the ambulance during emergency calls.
6. Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
Community Engagement:
Participate in local initiatives to enhance the organization's image and foster strong community relationships.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State EMT License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-EMT
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Successful completion of Physical Agility Test
- Relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare
Additional Benefits:
- All employees receive a $2/hour shift differential for night and weekend shifts.
- Field Training Officers earn an additional 5% of their hourly rate for each hour worked.
- Engage in a 911 system for the IFT market, including higher-level Special Care Transports.
