Software Requirements Administrator

Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Requirements Administrator to support multiple programs across the Segment(s). This position requires regular attendance on-site to develop, track, and verify requirements using the IBM Requirements Management tool (DOORS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage requirements and interface daily with the program team and attend program staff meetings.
  • Develop and maintain control of Division Standard template and custom DXL scripts.
  • Train Systems Engineers in utilizing the DOORS tool to effectively manage their requirements.
  • Assist in the planning and conduct of technical projects or portions of projects.
  • Generate Metrics and reports.
  • Establish DOORS end-user accounts.

Requirements:

  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Requirements Management tools (DOORS) and experience with related DXL programming language preferred; knowledge of C, Python and/or Java is a plus.
  • Understanding and experience in CDRL delivery.
  • Willing to work overtime and/or outside of normal business hours as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Practical knowledge of Requirements Tool Administration.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office tools; strong proficiency with Word and Excel required.
  • Ability to work closely with engineers, project leaders and peer level individuals.
  • Presentation and communication skills (verbal, written, and visual).
