Senior Account Sales Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Sales Consultant to join our team at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and qualify new business opportunities and develop tailored sales strategies to achieve sales goals
- Provide expert-level guidance and support to account representatives to ensure successful implementation of benefit plans
- Conduct educational meetings to review existing benefits and describe new benefits to account personnel
- Coordinate efforts with other sales consultants to ensure seamless delivery of service solutions to accounts
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, legislative developments, and corporate initiatives to provide informed guidance to accounts
- Valid NYS Accident and Health License within six months of employment
- Minimum of four-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Liberal Arts, or equivalent experience
- Previous direct sales or insurance industry experience required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels of account management and personnel
