Job Title: Senior Engineer - Oil and Gas

Farnsworth Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer - Oil and Gas to join our team in Greenwood Village, CO. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and project management on various oil and gas projects.

Job Duties:
  • Provide technical leadership and project management on various sizes of oil and gas projects.
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate efforts with support groups to ensure a quality on-time product for our clients.
  • Provide technical support as part of an engineering team on large/complex projects as needed.
  • Project development - provide technical support for the development of oil and gas projects from conceptual through final design.
  • Lead and/or support proposal efforts, working with multiple disciplines and subcontractors to develop scope and competitive pricing.
  • Expand on relationships and workload with current clients and support efforts as needed for pursuit of new clients.
Requirements:
  • BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
  • 10+ years of experience in an engineering technical role in the oil, natural gas, or similar industry.
  • 5+ years performing project work as a project manager with a firm understanding and experience in applying project management tools and best practices.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • General understanding of, and able to interpret and apply, DOT, API, ANSI, ASME and owner regulations, codes and standards.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) a plus.
  • Professional Project Manager (PMP) a plus.
  • Engineering of pipeline pump stations and natural gas compressor stations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to positively influence others and develop strong internal and external relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a wide variety of issues on multiple projects.
  • Strong team skills complemented with a strong work ethic.
  • Supervisory experience a plus.

Salary Range:

$95k – $130k (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity).
