CVS Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Winter Springs, FL. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our MinuteClinic.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a Master's Degree in Nursing and current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. You will be responsible for providing primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems. You will also be expected to perform administrative duties, such as opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, and patient follow-up.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, and patient follow-up.
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, and TB.
  • Provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
  • Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
  • Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing and current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Ability to speak and write in additional languages, such as Spanish, depending on the market.
