Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Behavioral Health Residency Program. As an LVN, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to patients with mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement care plans and provide direct patient care
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Document patient information and progress
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care conferences
- Current LVN licensure in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1 year of experience in an acute care setting or related area
- Experience in behavioral health or a related field
- Vocational Nurse IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal Certification
- Experience in a locked unit or intensive treatment program
