Physician Faculty Family Medicine Residency

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Faculty Physician in Family Medicine to join our team at St. Mary's Medical Center. As a Faculty Physician, you will play a vital role in teaching and mentoring residents, providing top-notch patient care, and contributing to the growth and development of our Family Medicine program.
Responsibilities- Provide direct inpatient and outpatient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment
- See patients of all ages, including pediatrics, obstetrics, general family medicine, and osteopathic manipulation
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens
- Train and supervise medical students and residents engaged in specialty activities and procedures
- Serve as a collaborative physician for advanced practice registered nurses and/or physician assistants
- Direct and coordinate patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required
We are looking for a board-certified Family Medicine physician with at least three years of practice experience. Experience or interest in obstetrics, performing and teaching osteopathic manipulation, and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a native Spanish speaker, enjoy teaching, and have a passion for rural medicine. Employment requires obtaining a Colorado license.
