This position is responsible for supporting the owner in the product development process to ensure customer satisfaction. This is a great learning opportunity for a recent college graduate with product development, marketing internship experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of new products across multiple lines of business.
- Coordinate new product development with the owner including market & product research, competitive analysis and assist in timeline development.
- Directly assist the owner with factory selection.
- Assist with product costing breakdown and bill of materials development, including raw materials, components, labor, and other costs to determine pricing.
- Work with Marketing on communication materials supporting new product launches.
- Assist in communication with our international offices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or internship experience in a related field preferred
- Possesses an organized, detail-focused approach.
- Ability to problem solve effectively and creatively.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
- Communicates effectively – both verbally and written
- Able to multitask with shifting priorities and to interact with diverse personalities.
- Able to be initiative-taking and work under pressure.
