About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Admitting Representative to join our team at Guidehouse. As an Admitting Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient patient registration and admission processes.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain complete and accurate demographic and financial information from patients, physician offices, and other sources.
  • Ensure all required signatures are obtained on legal consents and insurance forms.
  • Perform pre-certification, credit referral, or deposit collection as needed.
  • Enter data into computer systems and document any incomplete admissions/registrations accurately.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of experience in a hospital setting, medical office, or high-volume customer service environment is preferred.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM is desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is also beneficial.
