Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our Distribution and Logistics Department at Stanford Health Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the operations of our department, ensuring the efficient management of inventory, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operations of the Distribution and Logistics Department, including inventory management, supply chain management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in the activities of the department, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment.
  • Perform basic order entry, customer service, and inventory management tasks.
  • Assist with the training and orientation of new staff members.
  • Conform to standard procedures and methods used to store and distribute supplies within the applicable Federal, State, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Inventory and restock all Supply Chain managed locations, including surgical suites, surgical core supply rooms, clean utility rooms, and asset inventories.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education needed to perform job-related functions.
  • Maintain a professional work environment, keep work areas clean and organized, and practice good time management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of inventory management and/or materials handling and restocking experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to use email and minimal word processing skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and learn quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physical environment.
  • Consistent and reliable work habits.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and teamwork.
