The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services is seeking experienced registered nurses to provide essential care within our crisis intervention and recovery units. Our approach emphasizes trauma-informed care, addressing co-occurring disorders, and focusing on person-centered recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect nursing services for individuals in crisis.
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop tailored care plans.
- Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient progress.
- Provide health education and case management to enhance patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by authorized personnel.
Employment Details:
- Type: Full-time
- Annual Salary: $70,500.00, with additional benefits including holiday and shift differentials.
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
- Shifts: Evening and day shifts available
- Contract rates for qualified RN III candidates: $50 - $55/hr
Qualifications:
- RN III: Bachelor's in Nursing with a valid Oklahoma RN license and one year of professional experience; or an Associate in Nursing with two years of experience; or an Associate in Nursing with three years of LPN experience in psychiatric care.
- RN II: Bachelor's in Nursing with a valid Oklahoma RN license or an Associate in Nursing with one year of experience; or an Associate in Nursing with two years of LPN experience in psychiatric care.
- RN I: Associate in Nursing with a valid Oklahoma RN license.
Special Requirements:
Applicants must meet physical examination standards, including the ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull a maximum force of 25 pounds upon a conditional offer of employment.
