Job Summary

Child and Family Service is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist I to join our team. As a Clinical Specialist I, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Parent Educator/Lead Parent Educator and CWS to implement program services, linking assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic interventions to achieve successful case outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Parent Educator/Lead Parent Educator and CWS to implement program services
  • Link assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic interventions to achieve successful case outcomes
  • Provide flexible provision of services that accommodate families' needs and adjust schedules to be available evenings and weekends
  • Respond to on-call crisis response with 24/7 availability under the supervisor's directive
Requirements
  • Masters' Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency
  • 1-4 years of post-masters experience
  • Direct use of a variety of family therapies
  • Individual therapy with children and adults using cognitive behavioral techniques
  • Marital therapy
  • Therapeutic interventions targeting school behavior and academic performance
  • Implementation of interventions within or between systems in the participant's natural ecology that affect or influence the behavior of youth
  • Provision of group and individual clinical supervision
Preferred Knowledge
  • Family systems theory and application
  • Social ecological theory and application
  • Behavioral therapies theory and application
  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy theory and application
  • Pragmatic family therapies theory and application
  • Child development research and its application in treatment
  • Social skills assessment and intervention
