Clinical Specialist I

At Child and Family Service, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Specialist I to join our team. As a Clinical Specialist I, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Parent Educator/Lead Parent Educator and CWS to implement program services. This includes linking assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic interventions to achieve successful case outcomes.
Key responsibilities of the Clinical Specialist I include:
- Providing flexible provision of services that accommodate families' needs and adjusting schedules to be available evenings and weekends.
- Responding to on-call crisis response with 24/7 availability under the supervisor's directive.
- Conducting assessments, including reviewing referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, and developing an analysis of problem behaviors within the ecological context.
- Engaging participants and/or primary caregivers in developing active, culturally sensitive, change-oriented treatment plans.
- Collaborating with all relevant systems and key participants to ensure their engagement and cooperation throughout treatment or service intervention.
- Providing counseling, education, and training, and service interventions following the Family Service Plan, using program-compatible interventions based on best practice research.
- Identifying unusual psycho-social problems and barriers to meeting treatment objectives and addressing these accordingly.
- Ensuring all accreditation and affiliation requirements are met.
- Working a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends, to meet participant needs.
- Performing administrative tasks related to caseload, progress notes, service plans, mileage, correspondence, and reporting in a timely, concise manner following organization, funder, and accreditation standards.
