Job Summary:This position requires a strong understanding of radiologic equipment and procedures, as well as excellent patient care and communication skills. You will work closely with our team of orthopedic specialists to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Perform radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician
- Protect patients, self, and other staff from radiation hazards
- Take X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
- Select proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis
- Position patients and take X-Rays of specific parts of the patient's body as requested by physicians
- Create digital radiological images and check for clarity
- Upload and manage X-Rays
- Maintain required records, including patient records, daily logbooks, and monthly reports
- Perform quantity and quality control checks to ensure X-Ray unit meets standards
- Comply with safety standards and maintain radiographic equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Current state X-Ray Technology certificate or license
- RT(R) required
- 1-2 years of prior orthopedic radiology experience preferred
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
- Excellent patient care and computer skills
- Knowledge of EHR system
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology, surgical procedures, and treatment modalities
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to maintain quality control standards
This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime. The pay range for this position is $33.00 to $48.00 per hour, DOE. This position is eligible for benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, profit-sharing retirement plan, health savings account contributions, wellness program, and participation in other voluntary benefits programs.
