Job Summary:

This position requires a strong understanding of radiologic equipment and procedures, as well as excellent patient care and communication skills. You will work closely with our team of orthopedic specialists to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician
  • Protect patients, self, and other staff from radiation hazards
  • Take X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
  • Select proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis
  • Position patients and take X-Rays of specific parts of the patient's body as requested by physicians
  • Create digital radiological images and check for clarity
  • Upload and manage X-Rays
  • Maintain required records, including patient records, daily logbooks, and monthly reports
  • Perform quantity and quality control checks to ensure X-Ray unit meets standards
  • Comply with safety standards and maintain radiographic equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Requirements:
  • Current state X-Ray Technology certificate or license
  • RT(R) required
  • 1-2 years of prior orthopedic radiology experience preferred
  • Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
  • Excellent patient care and computer skills
  • Knowledge of EHR system
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology, surgical procedures, and treatment modalities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards
Benefits:

This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime. The pay range for this position is $33.00 to $48.00 per hour, DOE. This position is eligible for benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, profit-sharing retirement plan, health savings account contributions, wellness program, and participation in other voluntary benefits programs.
